Dear New Bridges Family,
I am delighted to share some exciting news with you! We are officially welcoming Helen Gwanfogbe as our Commissioned Lay Pastor and Director of Outreach. Many of you already know Pastor Helen from her time as the interim pastor before I arrived, and we are grateful for the leadership, care, and wisdom she has already shared with our congregation.
Pastor Helen brings a deep love for the church, a heart for community engagement, and a passion for embodying God’s justice and grace in the world. In this new role, she will help us continue strengthening our outreach efforts, deepening relationships within and beyond our church, and ensuring that New Bridges remains a place of welcome, service, and transformation.
We are so grateful to have Pastor Helen officially in this role, and we look forward to the ways her gifts will bless our congregation and our wider community. We will be blessing Pastor Helen into her new role on March 9 during worship. Please join us in celebrating this new chapter and in praying for Pastor Helen as she steps into this position.
